Dormancy Clean Up Sale! Hi! I'm cleaning up the grow area and have some great plants that need good homes. These plants are going to bust out of their pots soon. Instead of repotting, I'm offering them up here for you to take home. Images are of the exact plant for sale. Photographs of plants taken Feb 2022 reflect traps that are hanging around from last season. Dead pitchers will be trimmed prior to shipping. Decent pitchers will be left.
Photos are provided with last seasons pitchers as a reference. This will give you a general idea of what to expect when the plant is in active growth.
S. leucophylla "AJ01" x (rubra ssp. gulfensis AF x S. purpurea ssp. purpurea f. heterophylla) A Jerry Addington Creation
This was a cross that I grew out from seed that Jerry Addington created. The plant has an upright growth habit and seems to readily divide. It has a S. mitchelliana type structure, but a little more slender thanks to the rubra influence. I enjoy the bright tops this gets with the contrasting veins and pink peristome.
This cross is should be anthocyanin free recessive. Crosses with this plant and anthocyanin free (AF) or AF recessive plants should yield a percentage of AF plants. This may be of interest to those looking to breed in the anthocyanin free lines.
The entire Sarracenia in the pot is what I will ship, bare root. Dead pitchers will be trimmed but decent pitchers will be left.
